Newbuildings at Stocznia Szczecinska Nowa (SSN)

At the polish shipyard Stoczina Szczecinska Nowa Transeste Schiffahrt GmbH ordered two new containervessels. The newbuildings will be delivered in June (B 178-II/9) and September 2004 (B 178-II/10).

The vessels are able to carry 3,100 TEU (2,250 TEU and 500 reefer container) at 42,200 tons (BRZ 35 645).
The length is 221 m, width 32.24 m (panmax size), height 18.7 m and draught is 12.15 m.
3 Deck cranes (N.M.F. Type) are installed to load a max of 45 tons each.

To reach the service speed of 22.3 knots (at 10.5 m or 21 kn at 12.10 m) an engine with 26,270 kW is installed (Ciegielski/MAN B&W Type 7K80MC-C).Transeste makes an effort to non-polluting ships. Of course the coating is TBT-free, and we take into account the newest enviromental and safety directives.


M/V Esteclipper handed over to Andhika Bulk

Transeste Schiffahrt Gmbh has handed over M/V Esteclipper to her new Owners. The changeover was done on the 14th of October 2003 in Bremerhaven. The vessel will stay in the same trade from Bremerhaven to the port of Gdynia in Poland. For the near future the vessel will keep her familiar name "Esteclipper". The picture below shows the vessel outbound Bremerhaven on her first voyage For the new Owner just after handing over. The management of M/V Esteclipper will be done by V. Ships.


M/V Estestar handed over to Messrs. O.T. Tonnevold

M/V Estestar has been sold to Messrs. O.T. Tonnevold on the 24th of May 2004. The vessel was handed over to her new Owner's after a successfull sea trial after dry dock repairs in Las Palmas, Canary Island. The vessel was renamed to M/V Maersk Rimini and will remain in the same trade as before from US east coast to west african ports. In future the vessel will be managed by Anglo-Eastern Ship Management in Glasgow, UK.


M/V Anke Ritscher well under construction

Our newbuilding M/V Anke Ritscher is well under construction and will be delivered by the polish shipyard Stocznia Szczecinska Nowa according to schedule.On the 9th of July 2004 the naming ceremony of the vessel will take place, andon the same day she will leave the shipyard's helling. Delivery is set for the 15th of September.

M/V Anke Ritscher is chartered out to CSAV. She will join the westbound "Round the World" Service of CSAV's sister company Norasia. This service connects ports in North Europe with North America east/west coast, China, Singapore, India, Arabian Gulf and the Mediterrainean.

The recently delivered sister vessel of M/V Anke Ritscher, M/V Norasia Polaris ex M/V Wieland, is running in the same trade.

Below you see a small glance of the bridge of M/V Anke Ritscher.

The main engine, a MAN B&W 7K80MC-C, has successfully undergone a test bed trial in Poznan, Poland. Afterwards the engine was disassembled and transported by train to Stettin, where it is re-assembled again by MAN technicians. Just after launching, the motor will be "married" with the vessel's hull.


ISPS certification for Transeste fleet

On the 21st of June 2004 the last vessel of the Transeste fleet was certified successfully by Germanischer Lloyd for the newly introduced ISPS system which came into force on the 1st of July 2004. The Ship Security Plan was developped by the company together with Verband Deutscher Reeder.


Christening and launching of M/V Anke Ritscher

On the 9th of July M/V Anke Ritscher was christened by Mrs. Birte Gevers, daughter of the name giving person Mrs. Anke Ritscher. On the same occasion the vessel was launched and put in her preferred medium, where she will stay for hopefully five years from the date of delivery.

M/V Norasia Andes delivered to Transeste Schiffahrt GmbH

On the 24th of September 2004 the newbuilding M/V Norasia Andes was delivered to Transeste Schiffahrt GmbH by Stocznia Szczecinska Nowa. The vessel left Stettin on the same date at 14.00lt. and she will call at Hamburg on the 26th of September in the early morning for some cargo to load for the "Round-the-World" Service of Norasia.

Two Newbuildings ordered by Transeste Schiffahrt GmbH

Two vessels of the Sietas type 170 were ordered by Transeste Schiffahrt GmbH on the 10th of December 2004. These two vessels are sold by Peter Doehle Schiffahrts KG to Transeste Schiffahrt GmbH. The newbuildings will carry the yard numbers 1271 and 1272. Delivery will be in May and September 2006. The newbuilding 1271 will be named M/V Helle Ritscher. She has a charter with company Deutsche Afrika Linien starting from Bremerhaven to South Africa. The newbulding 1272 will be named M/V Jonni Ritscher. She has a 18 months charter with CMA CGM. The vessel will start her service on the 13th of September in a service connecting the West Med with caribbean ports and central America. She will sail as M/V CMA CGM Caribbean. You can see both vessels on the sketch below.

The building numbers 1271 and 1272 have been modified from its predecessors built by Sietas before. One additional deck has been supplied in the accommodation so that the container capacity is increased from 1.678 to 1.875 teu. The main dimensions are as following:

M/V Birte Ritscher sold to Eurobulk Ltd.

M/V Birte Ritscher was handed over to company Eurobulk Ltd. on the 12th of April 2007 in the port of Genoa. The vessel was renamed to Manolis P. She will stay in the same trade for her charterer Ziss.
