The passage fare includes provision of food on board (breakfast, lunch, coffee anddinner). If the passenger does not make any use of or only partly uses the service booked he shall not be entitled to any refund, Any beverages, wines and spirits and tobaccos will be for the passenger's account and all such accounts must be settled before leaving the ship,
The passage is carried out aboard a cargo-vessel; the passenger accepts
herewith and agrees that the demands of trading as cargo-vessel and operations
connected herewith take precedence over the interests of the passenger
regarding route of the vessel, departure and arrival times, calls at ports en
route, convenience of berthing places and possibilities for landing passengers;
that in consideration thereof the passenger will take special care for his own
safety on board and follow special notices given to passengers by the master
and/or officers for their protection.
We especially point out that no doctor is available on board the vessel.
Therefore, children under 5 years of age and pregnant women are not admitted
for passage.
Furthermore passengers are only admitted if they present an adequate health
certificate. In case of illness or injury, happening in the course of the
voyage, passengers may apply for attendance by an officer of the vessel and for
medicaments as far as available on board. However, the owners do not accept any
responsibility for the consequences of such treatment.
Should the ship be unable for any reason to perform the intended voyage,
this contract shall be considered void. Prepaid fares will be refunded. The
passenger shall not be entitled to claim any compensation if the ship should
deviate from the advertised route for any reason whatsoever.
The passenger to place a proper insurance for loss and/or damage of personal belongings taken on board.
The carrier undertakes to carry the passenger from the agreed port of departure to the agreed port of destination or if the passage contract has been agreed on a time period to the next port wh ich is to be considered as convenient for landing the passenger when the time period as agreed has elapsed.
The carrier may at any time without notice substitute vessels.
Times of departure and arrival at port of destination or at any port en route are given as approximate times only. If the ship does not call at the port of departure or of destination as named in the ticket the carrier is only obliged to transport the passenger from the agreed port of departure to the place of the actual departure or from the place of the vessel's arrival to the agreed port of destination, by means of transport according to carrier's discretion, however, at carrier's cost. But costs of food and accommodation ashore are the sole responsibility of the passenger, even if incurred while waiting or during transfer, transhipment or a connecting carriage. In arranging such carriage and hotel accommodation, the carrier acts only as agent of the pas-senger and does so on the express condition that no liability of any kind howsoever caused shall attach to the carrier for any acts and/or emissions and/or non-performance by contractors whose ,services were arranged on behalf of,the passenger, whether at his or carrier's expenses.
